Miller, Miller & Canby, an AV-rated Rockville law firm is seeking a highly motivated, detail oriented, and flexible Legal Secretary / Legal Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis. The duties of this position include, but are not limited to: interacting with clients; case management and support; maintaining calendars and scheduling for multiple attorneys; file organization; handling transcription of dictation; coordinating and confirming deadlines; maintaining excel spreadsheets; and proficient use of Microsoft Office and Adobe applications.
A successful candidate will need to possess the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines; attention to detail; keen observation skills; excellent time management skills; strong organizational skills; impressive communication skills; and accurate numeric skills.
This position requires interaction with our clients via telephone, email, facsimile, letter and in person. Candidates must speak, read, and write clearly.
