Miller, Miller & Canby real estate attorney Taggart (Tagg) Hutchinson has been elected as a Committee Chair of the Real Property Section Council of the Maryland Bar Association. His term begins in June.
The MSBA is comprised of more than 23,000 attorneys and judges; it monitors judicial and legislative issues, offers legal education opportunities, promotes leadership within the legal profession and offers public service programs to ensure the delivery of quality legal services to all citizens. The Real Property section of the MSBA is comprised of attorneys whose practices focus predominantly in the areas of real property, planning, or zoning.
“I am honored to take on this role, and I look forward to working with my colleagues and MSBA leadership to promote the mission of the Council,” Hutchinson said.
Hutchinson is a Principal in Miller, Miller & Canby’s Real Estate practice, focusing on commercial real estate transactions, financings and settlement services and related litigation, as well as property tax appeals and land development matters. He represents prominent local developers and institutions in an array of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales and financings, land development and ownership options, title review, title insurance and settlements.
