FDR Boulevard Project –Phase 3B- from Buck Hewitt Road to Pegg Road

2022.03.30 Phase 3B of the FDR Boulevard Project will be constructing roadway improvements along FDR Boulevard. The project phases 1A,1B,1C and 2 have been completed. The property acquisition portion of phase 3A was completed in 2021 and phase 3B is all that remains. This section of the project is in the final stages of the design phase with bidding scheduled for the fall of this year. The construction phase is scheduled to take place in the winter of 2023. St. Mary’s County has begun the acquisition process for phase 3B, sending appraisers to make offers on the value of the taking of property.
