Jim Thompson’s selection as 2013 Lawyer of the Year in Eminent Domain and Condemnation Law was announced by Miller, Miller & Canby and the Owners’ Counsel of America (OCA) today. Mr. Thompson has represented Maryland in the OCA, a national network of property rights attorneys. The Lawyer of the Year recognition is given by The Best Lawyers in America, the oldest lawyer-rating publication in the U.S. Only a single lawyer in each practice area and designated metropolitan community is honored as Lawyer of the Year, making this designation particularly significant.
