Mr. Suntum focuses his trial practice on real estate disputes, most particularly those involving eminent domain and condemnation. He works effectively with appraisers, land planners, brokers, and developers to maximize the Just Compensation paid to his clients for property taken by governmental agencies. Mr. Suntum also recognizes the value of using technology to enhance the presentation and persuasive value of one’s case and he uses his knowledge in this area to benefit all of his clients. In 2013, Mr. Suntum was elected as Maryland’s representative in the Owners’ Counsel of America, a national network of property rights attorneys, a prestigious position awarded to only one attorney in each state.
