When voting this July, please remember to vote for our “Sitting Judges:” Carlos Acosta, Theresa Chernosky, Kathleen Dumais, and Rachel McGuckian. These four Judges went through a rigorous screening process with a non-partisan nominating commission. Each was vetted by as many as 15 bar associations, criminal background checks were done, detailed reference checks were conducted, and each completed a 41-question application detailing personal and professional history. The Governor’s office then conducted another thorough vetting of these Judges before making appointments. These four Judges are the only ballot candidates who successfully completed this vetting process.
The Sitting Judges are endorsed by the last four governors, all Montgomery County Senators, former County Executive Ike Leggett, Senator Chris Van Hollen, Attorney General Brian Frosh and the Washington Post.
Miller, Miller & Canby’s Litigation Attorneys strongly encourage you to vote for Judges Acosta, Chernosky, Dumais and McGuckian. To learn more about MM&C Litigation practice click here.
