Donna McBride’s Employer Litigation Article Featured in “The Defense Line”

Miller, Miller & Canby's Donna McBride recently examined an interesting case involving employer litigation in an article titled "The Law of Respondeat Superior is Alive and Well in Maryland — A Review of Barclay v. Briscoe." The article has been included in the recent issue of The Maryland Defense Counsel's "The Defense Line" as a feature. In it, Ms. McBride outlines why the Court of Appeals declined to extend liability to employers for negligent acts of employees that occur outside the scope of the employer's business.
