The Maryland Bar Foundation inducted its 2024 Fellows Class on June 6 at its annual meeting, held in conjunction with the Maryland State Bar Association’s Legal Summit in Ocean City, Maryland.

This year’s fellows include Miller, Miller & Canby attorneys Tagg Hutchinson and Scott Mirsky. Tagg is a principal in Miller, Miller & Canby’s Real Estate practice, focusing on commercial real estate transactions, financings and settlement services and related litigation, as well as property tax appeals and land development matters. Scott is a principal in Miller, Miller & Canby’s Employment Law and Employment Litigation practice. He focuses his practice on advising and litigating employment, business and construction disputes.

The Maryland Bar Foundation was organized more than 50 years ago to “expand access to justice and understanding of the law.” The Foundation works to foster integrity of the profession, improve the administration of justice, promote the study of law and provide grants to non-profit organizations positively impacting our community.

Every year, the Maryland Bar Foundation adds to its class of fellows, providing greater levels of financial support for law-related public service programs. New fellows must be nominated by current fellows, and then approved by the Board of Directors of the Maryland Bar Foundation. Membership is indicative of the attorney’s dedication to making justice accessible and upholding the integrity of the legal profession.
