Summit Avenue Extension Project (from Plyers Mill Road to Farragut Road)

2022.04.21 The Summit Ave Extension project did not make the County Executive’s Recommended Budget (January 2022 ). However, things may change between now and June 2022 when the County Council approves the budget. The approved budget and schedule will be posted on the OMBsite. https://apps.montgomerycountymd.gov/BASISCAPITAL/Common/Index.aspx . The budget was supposed to be for 6 years, but money for funding has run out. As of now there is no money for further construction.
