Project Scope:

Approval of a preliminary plan and site plan to create two lots and one private road to allow additional 106,000 square feet of development including 60 multi-family residential units and up to 11,000 sf of ground floor retail.   The proposal also included 15% MPDUs and below-grade parking.

Success:

Soo Lee-Cho assisted the owner and developer, Alvin Aubinoe, Inc., to obtain the necessary approvals for the 3.49 acres of land on Old Georgetown Road.  The pathway to approval began with navigating the County’s adoption of the 2017 Rock Spring Sector Plan to ensure that recommendations for the property would facilitate the client’s ultimate vision for its redevelopment and included negotiations with adjacent residential neighbors on building and site design.
