Guiding Veterans to Receive the Benefits You Deserve.

Brave men and women who have made a career out of serving our country and risked life and limb to defend our nation deserve guidance for a successful future.

Applying for benefits is often a long and difficult process. VA laws are complex, and they are subject to frequent changes. It is helpful to have guidance in navigating through the regulations and the steps involved. We will advise you on the levels of financial benefits for which you may qualify and we strive to make the claims process easier so you can focus on providing for your family and successfully navigating your future.

Helping Veterans Capitalize on Important Benefits

Attorneys accredited by the VA provide valuable assistance in explaining the VA benefits to which you and your family may be entitled.  Not only do our attorneys outline the steps necessary to qualify for those benefits and assist in the process, we also help with putting together a subsequent strategy. There are specific instances where counsel is helpful in applying for benefits and implementing long-term planning.  For example, it may be advantageous to move assets into a trust as part of a detailed financial plan.

Miller, Miller & Canby is accredited by the Department of Veterans Affairs for the planning and preparation of claims for veterans. We work with veterans to evaluate and establish eligibility and will guide you so that you can capitalize on benefits that you might be eligible to receive based on your years of service.

VA benefits are generally available to honorably discharged veterans and their families where the veteran has
    • At least 90 days of active duty, with one day during a wartime period; and
    • A permanent or total disability OR attained the age of 65 years.
